Sound familiar? Very often we receive questions regarding how to respond to these pesky emails and whether to address them. Our answer? Delete. But before you do, consider why you received this sort of spam in the first place.

“Search Engine Spam” is nothing more than a solicitation. Companies use automated software to ‘scrape’ the top few hundred results on Google for specific keywords, and then generate email addresses associated with those listings. A mass email is sent, hoping to motivate recipients to respond because their company isn’t getting the search engine rankings that they need.

A Clean, Social-Friendly Website For Mother Network Guardians

Mother Network Guardians

Mission Accomplished: A clean, social-friendly web presence for Mother Network Guardians!

About Our Client: Since 2004 Mother Network Guardians has been the Chicago-land area’s leading outsourced IT provider. They enjoy partnerships with well-respected industry leaders like McAfee, Microsoft, Cisco, Dell and Symantec.

Working with Mother’s executive team was delightful. Thanks to Rebecca, Dave and Keith for making this project such a refreshing (and eye-opening!) experience for us.

Even though we consider ourselves “above average” when it comes to being tech-savvy, sometimes working with IT professionals can be a bit intimidating. They brought us into their world and explained the business on a very down-to-earth level that we could easily digest.

This is the same philosophy we have for planning and building websites so we were immediately appreciative of their refreshing approach.

Located in downtown Wheaton IL., they offer fun, self-serve yogurt and an array of delicious toppings. Their yogurt contains high levels of beneficial live and active cultures to ensure a tasty and healthy experience.

Building their new website was tons of fun – and very tasty. Since we prefer to really get to know our clients before working with them, we made it mandatory to taste all 8 delicious flavors of yogurt. They passed our improvised and imaginary quality-control test and the rest is history.

Are You Answering The Growing Demand Of Longer Search Terms?

Longer Search Terms

Face it, the only thing constant about the Web is change.

Here’s a trend worth noting. According to a recent presentation by Compendium Blogware, the average search phrase is now four words in length. And what does that mean? It means everyday searchers from around the globe are getting more and more sophisticated with their searching methods. And it doesn’t stop there.

Listen to this: Today search inquiries based on eight words are now the fastest growing phrase count!

Eight words?

The long tail of search terms used to be a concept only Amazon and Ebay could appreciate. Now it’s gradually becoming a common practice.

Is Facebook Places – Going Places?

Announced as a beta version earlier this month, Facebook Places provides a presence for your business’s physical store locations encouraging your customers to share that they’ve visited your business by “checking in” to your Place.

Facebook Places could make for some great organic impressions and may put a whole new twist on in-store promotions and loyalty programs. Imagine the fun you could have with interactive incentives and real-time inventory reductions. Used creatively, this could be a clever venue for businesses to better optimize Facebook.
