Discovery typically takes between 3 to 4 hours, and can be divided into multiple sessions for your convenience:
Priorities: What must your website achieve as it pertains to your business? Your priorities will ultimately determine the prescription for a right-fit platform that best suits your needs.
Platform: Based on your priorities, what type of a platform would make the most sense? Based on a number of deciding factors, we'll help you select a platform that accommodates your requirements, exceeds your expectation for design, and fits well within your budget.
Positioning: Who do you serve? Your positioning strategy, and the messages you take to the market, will ultimately determine whether or not your website resonates with prospects.
Pages: What is the best navigational structure for your website, and which key pieces of information are required for each page? We'll work towards simplifying your content so it's easier to manage, and, more importantly, we'll organize it in a way that makes it easy for your prospects to quickly find the information they're looking for.
Project Plan: What absolutely must happen next? This is where we create two phases for your project. The first phase includes everything that's achievable now. The second phase is where we'll take another look at the other "wish list" items coming from our discussion, such as white papers, webinars, quizzes, etc., and work towards defining an attainable second phase that can be achieved later. Because we've found that together, if we take on too much all at once, deadlines get pushed and the opportunity cost of having an outdated, cluttered, poorly-designed website is incalculable.
Building your website typically requires between 1 to 2 weeks. However, this can depend greatly on the overall scope of the project. Additional factors that can affect build time include platform selection, number of pages, assets which need to be created from scratch, etc.
Once your website is built, you'll have the chance to navigate it in a private, secure environment. Your website will be fully-functional at this time, and you'll want to interact with it on a more meaningful level - just as your prospects would do if it were live. We recommend allowing about 1 week for review and revisions.
After we have completed the necessary revisions and the website is approved, we'll carefully handle the launch. We'll be sure to go live at a time late in the evening when traffic is at an all-time low, as well as take care of all redirects from your outdated website to be be sure that prospects and search engines continue to find the pages they're looking for.
